1800Flowers is a well-known online florist and gift retailer that has been in operation for over four decades. With its vast array of flowers, plants, gifts, and gourmet food, 1800Flowers has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality products, backed by its customer-friendly return policy. This article will take an in-depth look at 1800Flowers' return policy, covering everything from what items are eligible for return to the steps you need to take to make a return.
1800Flowers offers a 30-day return policy for most of their products, allowing customers to return items if they are not satisfied. This policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain trust. However, there are some exceptions, particularly with perishable items like fresh flowers and food products, which may have more limited return options due to their nature.
To initiate a return, customers are encouraged to contact 1800Flowers' customer service team. They can assist with the process and provide any necessary instructions or return labels. It's important to note that the original shipping charges are typically non-refundable, and customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on the part of 1800Flowers.
Common complaints about the return policy often revolve around the condition of perishable items upon arrival. Customers sometimes report receiving flowers that are wilted or not as fresh as expected. In such cases, 1800Flowers usually offers a replacement or refund, but the process can be time-consuming, and customers may need to provide photographic evidence of the issue.
Another pain point is the time it takes to process refunds. While 1800Flowers aims to handle returns promptly, some customers have experienced delays in receiving their refunds. It's advisable for customers to keep track of their return shipments and follow up with customer service if they do not receive confirmation of their refund within a reasonable timeframe.
Overall, while 1800Flowers strives to provide a satisfactory return experience, customers should be aware of the specific conditions and limitations associated with returning perishable items. Being informed and proactive in communicating with customer service can help ensure a smoother return process.

I have received live plants for the last 2 years for Mothers Day from my son. Both have died within a few weeks. He doesn't sent live flowers because they die, but getting live plants that die is much worse.
the flowers and even the vase were pitiful. embarrassing even, as if sent the cheapest flowers
