LG offers a return policy that generally allows customers to return products within 15 days of purchase. This policy applies to most items purchased directly from LG's website. To initiate a return, customers need to contact LG's customer service to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Without this number, returns may not be processed, so it's crucial to follow the procedure carefully.
One common complaint about LG's return policy is the relatively short return window of 15 days, which some customers find insufficient, especially for high-value electronics that may require more time to evaluate. Additionally, customers are often responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or an error was made by LG. This can be a pain point for those who are not satisfied with their purchase but are hesitant to incur additional costs.
Another issue that customers sometimes face is the condition in which the product must be returned. LG requires that items be returned in their original packaging and in like-new condition. This means that any damage or missing components can result in a denial of the return or a restocking fee. Customers should ensure they keep all packaging materials and handle the product carefully during the trial period.
For those looking to return a product, it's advisable to start the process as soon as possible to ensure it falls within the 15-day window. Contacting customer service promptly and following their instructions can help avoid any delays or complications. If the product is defective, customers should document the issue with photos or videos, as this can expedite the return process and potentially waive return shipping fees.
Overall, while LG's return policy is fairly standard for the electronics industry, the short return period and potential costs associated with returns can be challenging for some customers. Being aware of these conditions and acting quickly can help ensure a smoother return experience.

Worst buying experience I've ever had! LG OWES ME $762.99 !!!!!!
LG customer service is responding with no logic for the cooktop purchased in a new home provided by the builder, asking for proof of purchase and not ready to accept the home closure date with is my equipment purchase date, and asking to pay for a manufacturing defect of the equipment.
