Seed Health Return Policy Explained

Seed Health primarily sells its DS-01® Daily Synbiotic through a subscription program. Purchases renew automatically at the delivery frequency selected in the customer account, and the payment method on file is charged when each renewal order is processed. Because shipments can be processed automatically, cancellation timing matters: canceling a subscription generally stops future renewals but does not necessarily stop an order that has already been processed for an upcoming shipment. Customers should review the next scheduled shipment date in the account area and make changes before the renewal is processed to avoid unwanted charges.

Refund eligibility is centered on a first-order guarantee. A refund may be requested within 30 days of delivery of the first monthly subscription order. The refund is intended to cover the product cost, with shipping and certain international charges (such as VAT, duties, or similar fees) typically excluded. A return shipment is generally not required for this first-order refund request. Refunds requested outside the stated 30-day window are typically not eligible, and credits are not generally offered in place of a refund when the request is late.

The first-order guarantee is limited in scope. Refunds generally apply only to the first subscription order and not to subsequent refills or later shipments on an ongoing plan, even if those later shipments occur within 30 days of the first delivery. After the initial order, the practical way to avoid charges is to manage the subscription: reschedule the next shipment, skip, or cancel before the renewal is processed. If a subscription is canceled and later reactivated, the reactivated subscription is generally not treated as a new first order for refund purposes.

For cancellation, the most reliable approach is to cancel directly in the Seed account settings (manage subscriptions) and confirm that a cancellation confirmation message is received. If account access is unavailable, cancellation can also be requested through customer support email. When contacting support, customers should include the email address used for the account, the subscription details, and the requested effective date (for example, cancel before the next scheduled shipment). For billing concerns—such as an unexpected renewal charge—customers should contact customer support promptly with the order details so the charge timing, order status, and available remedies can be reviewed.
